Great value for W-2s

I needed to file W-2s for my small business and was looking for the best deal. Tax1099 had pretty good volume pricing, especially when I compared it to some other platforms. The cost per form dropped nicely when I put in all my employees. Felt like a solid purchase, definitely got my money's worth.

Consistent 1099-NEC filing

I've used Tax1099 for my 1099-NEC filings for a few years now. This last time, it was just as straightforward as always. The process hasn't changed much, which I appreciate, and the forms got filed without any issues. It's why I keep coming back.

So easy for 941 filings

I just did my 941 quarterly filing and it was genuinely a breeze! Everything was so intuitive, from uploading the data to actually submitting. The confirmation came through quickly too. I'm telling my colleagues about this for sure, will absolutely use them again for the next quarter and probably W-2s come year-end!

QuickBooks integration worked

I used Tax1099 to e-file my 1099-MISC forms and integrated it with QuickBooks. The integration itself worked surprisingly well; saved me a lot of manual entry. Delivery to recipients was also smooth. My one small gripe was navigating the help section, it took a few clicks to find the exact article I needed, but overall, it was a good experience for the price.

Can I import all my contractor data from QuickBooks directly into Tax1099, or is it a manual entry nightmare?

M Michelle Harris 1 month ago
Nah, you can definitely import from QuickBooks. It makes it way easier, saved me a ton of time.

J Jacob King 1 month ago
Yeah, they have an integration for QuickBooks. It's one of their main features, so no manual entry necessary for that.

Any promo codes floating around for new users? Thinking of trying them out this year.

Z Zach T. 1 month ago
Sometimes they do. I'd check if they have a new user sign-up offer on their site, or maybe look for referral codes online.

They mostly do volume discounts, but I've seen them occasionally have specific partner offers you can use a promo code for. Worth a quick Google or checking their homepage banner.

Hey, thinking about using this for my W-2s this year. Anyone know if they have early bird pricing for next tax season? trying to save a few bucks.

S Sofia P. 1 month ago
I think they usually do. I caught an early bird discount last year around October/November, so keep an eye out.

R Richard Allen 1 month ago
They often have seasonal specials, so it's a good bet they'll have something for early filers. Worth checking their site around fall.

Is Tax1099 legit? I've seen some other sites out there but this one seems to have good prices, just want to make sure it's not some scam.

J Jennifer Adams 2 weeks ago
Yeah, they're legit. Used them for a few years now for my small business's 1099s. Never had an issue with the IRS.

S Susan Moore 2 weeks ago
They're actually an IRS-authorized e-file provider. That's a pretty big deal, so you should be good.

What's the deal with pricing? It looks like it gets cheaper if you do more forms, but how much cheaper?

E Emma 3 weeks ago
Yeah, it's volume-based. The price per form drops quite a bit if you're doing, say, hundreds instead of just one. I think it goes from almost 3 bucks down to under a dollar if you hit higher tiers.

J Jacob Allen 3 weeks ago
They have tiered pricing. The more you file, the less each form costs. It's a pretty standard setup for these types of services.

I messed up a 1099 I already filed, realized I put the wrong amount. Can I file a corrected one through them?

S Sofia C. 4 weeks ago
Yes, you can file corrected forms with them. I had to do it once, it wasn't too bad.
1
R Robert P. 3 weeks ago
Yup, they support corrected form filing. Just log in and find the original form, there should be an option to correct it.

Is there a way to get like, a multi-user account? I've got a couple of people in my office who'll need to access this.

T Tim 3 weeks ago
They have multi-user access management. My accounting firm uses it so multiple people can log in and work on different client forms.

J Justin P. 3 weeks ago
Pretty sure they do. Check the settings or contact support, but I remember seeing something about managing team members.

How do these guys compare to like, Intuit QuickBooks Tax? I already use QuickBooks for my books, wondering if it's easier to just stick with them for tax stuff.

A Adam Scott 1 month ago
It depends. Tax1099 is really specialized in just the forms, so if you're doing a bunch of different ones, it might be smoother. QuickBooks Tax can be fine if you're already in their ecosystem, but sometimes it feels more clunky for just form filing.
3
S Sandra H. 1 month ago
I've used both. Tax1099 feels a bit more straightforward for bulk form filing, especially if you have a bunch of contractors. Quickbooks can be good if your data is perfectly clean in there, but sometimes getting it to map right can be a pain.
